Easter Thunderball Santa Pod

The Funny Car is ready for test runs and we had a nice opportunity to do our first test runs at Easter Thunderball at Santa Pod. Unfortunately the weather was so bad, we were unable to unpack the necessary gear because of the strong winds and rain. Friday some sportsman classes did some runs between showers. 
Saturday morning the weather was even worse, beside the wind it began to snow and we decided to go back to Belgium, because the weather-forecast looked very bad for the next two days. 
On Sunday we received some pictures of the track at Santa Pod with 2 inches of snow, you can imagine we were glad to be at home.

It wasn't a successful weekend, but the next one will be better, there is no doubt about that! We got an invitation do make some great Funny Car noise at "Speed and Gein" on April 19-20, check out the website below

The weekend of April 26-27 is very important for Danny's Racing Team. At the MZA-Luckau track we will do some necessary test runs to find a set up to be ready for the first Fia race at Santa Pod during the Main Event

We are very lucky with our friends who helped us to get our hands on a new engine and to be more competitive in the 2008 European Fia series. We want to say big thanks to Erwin and Speedshop Belgium to make this happen. Without their help it wasn't possible thanks guy's. Our body is repaired @ the Technical School TSM Mechelen thanks Geert and Dirk, they did a great job. The funnycar looks like new and is ready to rock and roll. Thanks to all who helped and made our race live a little easier.
