Drachten Dutch Finals 2010

Danny's Racing Team went with no less than 4 racers to the Dutch Finals in Drachten. Danny to make some testruns with his Top Methanol Funny Car, Mario drove his Chevrolet Monza in the Pro ET class, Sandro competed in Super Pro ET with his Chevrolet Bel Air Funny Car andChristiano made his debute on a Junior Dragbike. With a 0.027 reaction time he was second qualifyer at the end of day two. In the eliminations Christiano finished 0.14 seconds under his index and ended that way his first race.

Mario was struggling with technical problems and could only make two passes. In Super Pro ET Sandro's Bel Air was the first car in the class to finish with a speed above 300 km/h. He put a 307 km/h and a 7,02 sec on the boards. In the last run on Saturday he damaged the engine and this meant the end of the weekend for him

Danny planned to make some testruns before going to the European Finals in England. His first pass looked from the startline as if he was trying to draw a wave on the track. He was all over his lane but still managed a fantastic time of 3,88 sec. and a speed of 289 km/h on the 200 m. This is a new speedrecord on the track of Drachten. In his second pass he repeated this performance with a 3,94 sec. and 290 km/h.
