Main " rain" Event

The first FIA event that we have been waiting for all winter!

On Friday only the "pro" classes race, so we have the time to enjoy some racing from the sidelines. Saturday morning, and we are ready to Rock and Roll! Finally an opportunity to test the new engine on a well-prepared track! We decide to make it a 1/8 mile run to see what gives and the timing slip looks promising, but... the engine has suffered some serious damage. Luckily Dan Larsen has the spare parts we need, thanks Dan!

The rest of the day is spent repairing the engine for the Sunday qualifying runs. But the weather completely changes overnight, black cloud, rain and winds prevent the race to be continued on Sunday.
Monday morning looks promising, and the Pro Mod classes prepare for their first elimination runs, and while the Pro Mod class nearly finishes, and the Top Fuelers are lining up, the rain starts pouring down again...

Around 14h30 race control decides to definitively end the "Rain" Event...
